Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Blockchain and Smart Contract Developer to join our innovative team. As a key member of our blockchain development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing blockchain solutions and smart contracts. Your expertise in NodeJS, TypeScript, and blockchain technologies will be essential in advancing our projects and contributing to the growth of our platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement blockchain solutions and smart contracts that align with project requirements.
• Utilize your strong proficiency in NodeJS and TypeScript to develop, test, and deploy efficient and reliable smart contracts.

• Explore and implement best practices for blockchain development, ensuring security, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Work with Docker containers to understand and test the integration of smart contracts within the Koinos blockchain ecosystem.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and code quality.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in blockchain and smart contract development.
• Provide technical insights and recommendations for optimizing blockchain architecture and smart contract design.
• Collaborate with QA and testing teams to ensure the stability and reliability of smart contracts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to blockchain functionalities and smart contracts as they arise.
• Document code, technical processes, and architectural decisions to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Proficiency in NodeJS and TypeScript,
• Experience with Docker or similar containerization technologies is a plus, particularly in the context of blockchain development.
• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including concepts such as transactions, blocks, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic algorithms.
• Familiarity with the principles of public and private key cryptography, and their role in blockchain security.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality code and documentation.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and a fast-paced development environment.
• Previous experience with blockchain platforms like Koinos or similar decentralized systems is a strong advantage.
• Smart contract development experience a plus
• A huge plus would be full stack engineer who can help with front end development as well
