Job Description

The purpose of this role to is to execute the day-to-day operational activities required to maintain a secure and stable cloud environment. The role provides technical support expertise, resolving issues to maximise the accessibility and availability of cloud services to the business. The role will report directly to the Monitoring Lead.

• Architecting and implementing a robust infrastructure for monitoring all applications in the IoT solution
• Documentation process, and procedures, system configuration for the monitoring solution, including but not limited to performance dashboards, operations KPIs, alert notifications, etc
• Devise new and innovative ways to facilitate the analysis of system reliability and diagnosis of issues on the IoT Platform
• Work with Operations and Development Team to understand improvement, new feature, and enhancement requirements for teams to implement

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the IT industry, preferably supporting, monitoring a production environment with propriety applications and REST API
• Hands-on experience in working with Devops culture, following agile software development methodologist of Scrum and/or Kanban as well as with proven experience in source code management tools such as Bitbucket
• Solid Experience in CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and with shown ability with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Docker or Kubernetes, and repository tools like Artifactory
• Experience with product Atlassian tools like Jira (product backlog) and Confluence (documentation), ticketing system like ServiceNow
• Knowledge in creating and configuring logging pipelines and monitoring solutions (for example Elasticsearch, Logstash, function beat, AWS Cloud Quick Sight, AWS Athena, PowerBI, Prometheus. PagerDuty, Opsgenie)
• Strong interpersonal skills including creative thinking, attention to details, collaboration, teamwork and a drive to learn and succeed.
• University degree: Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Proficient in English
