Scrum Master

Job Description:

• Guide and coach development teams in adopting and following the Scrum framework, including facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).
• Foster a self-organizing and cross-functional team environment. Support the team in defining and refining user stories, estimating effort, and breaking down work into manageable tasks.
• Remove any obstacles or impediments that hinder team progress. Encourage collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, prioritize backlog items, and manage the product backlog effectively. Help ensure that the team delivers value-driven increments during each sprint and meets stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders. Act as a bridge between the development team and other stakeholders, promoting transparency and timely information flow.
• Track and analyze Agile metrics (such as velocity, burndown charts, and team performance) to provide visibility into project progress and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Conduct regular retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans accordingly. Drive a culture of continuous learning and process refinement within the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations, gather feedback, and ensure that project priorities align with business goals.
• Mentor and coach team members on Agile practices, ensuring a shared understanding of roles, responsibilities, and processes.
• Provide administrative support as needed

Skills & Requirements:

• Graduate of BS in Information Technology/ Computer Science or any IT-related course
• Solid understanding of Agile principles, values, and practices, with expertise in the Scrum framework.
• Proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master in software development projects.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to foster collaboration and teamwork within cross-functional and self-organizing teams.
• Proficiency in Agile tools and software development lifecycle management platforms like Azure DevOps, etc. is an advantage.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret Agile metrics and drive data-based decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), etc. are highly desirable.
• Experience in working with foreign clients.
