About the role

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer (project-based but possible to become full-time) to work with our US Client. You will be responsible for designing and developing innovative web-based applications and sites with end-users in mind. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong passion for programming, keeps up with the latest web development technologies and industry trends, especially with Web3 or artificial intelligence (chatGPT), and is a proactive team player who can communicate well with team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging and user-friendly web-based applications, ensuring that they meet performance and functional requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure that all goals and objectives are met
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical problems
• Keep up with the latest web development trends and technologies, identify potential improvements and make suggestions to improve processes and systems
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any equivalent
• At least 5 years experience in web development with expertise in Javascript, CSS, HTML, and PHP
• Experience in at least one web development framework (React, Angular, Vue, Laravel, or Ruby on Rails)
• Experience in working with Agile development processes and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and excellent communication skills
• The ability to adapt to new and emerging technologies
• A portfolio of previous web development projects.
